Shaping Your Brows
The shape of
your brow should follow the natural line of your brow bone. The arch should be
highest at the outer corner of the pupil. To determine where the brow should
begin, place a pencil straight up from the side of the nostril. To determine
where it should end, hold the pencil diagonally against the outer corner of the
eye pointing up to the brow bone. Brow should extend slightly beyond the eye at
which point it should taper slightly down.
|
|
| |
è
Not Sure How Much To Tweeze
Be sure to
step back from your mirror and check your brows periodically. Tweeze a
few hairs from one brow and then the other so they remain symmetrical.
Remember that it's better to tweeze too little than too much. |
|
| |
è
Do’s and Don’ts
Do tweeze in
the direction of hair growth.
Do open your pores with a hot washcloth
to make tweezing easier.
Do use a make-up concealer to draw your
desired brow shape, then tweeze the
hairs that fall below the line.
Don't use creams or moisturizers that
can cause the tweezers to slip.
Don't tweeze nose hairs or hairs growing
out of moles. |

Lack of water in your system.
The production of excess oil.
Excess dead skin cells blocking the
opening of the pore.
An improper cleansing routine that
results in oil not being removed.
The type of make-up you are using.
Do not squeeze out blackheads with your
fingers. This can lead to infection and
possible scarring. Technicare stainless

Scissors, Tips For Handling
The first thing to remember is treat them gently - unlike
to popular belief, the most valuable scissors are the most
delicate and need extra attention because they have the finest
edges. When scissors are new / freshly serviced, don’t go
chomping away at heavy sections, give them two weeks of light
work to run the edges in. Scissors with a fresh edge are easier
to damage than run in scissors, don’t pressure the scissors - it
could catch or even break an edge. When your scissors are new or
freshly serviced, take things a little slower and watch what you
are doing - most hairdressers will cut themselves with new
scissors because they are not used to them. |

Cleaning
and Oiling...
Scissors
are not meant to be used dry. Oil them
everyday or after 2 days
with a good quality scissor oil . This
will make them cut better, stop them
corroding and they will last longer.
Your scissors must be cleaned through
the end of its edge and left
cleaned and oiled overnight. ,
hair or moisture is expelled by oil. Now
accurately spread the oil on the inside
of the scissor blades with your finger.
If you haven’t done this before, ask
your local Scissor Pear list to
show you how.
